On 17th October about 20 church folk gave up their time on an Autumn Saturday to form a working party.
A large number of different tasks were accomplished – various painting and gardening jobs were completed; some basic some skilled, depending on the talents of those there on the day! Some of us were happy to work by ourselves, others enjoyed the team approach, and everybody felt good about how much we achieved together.
Talking of teamwork, a small group of us meet regularly on Thursday mornings at 10:00am (except on Thursday Cafe days) to address more items on the To Do list.
It is a great time of fellowship and building new friendships, and we would love to see new people and share with them. You don’t have to be particularly skilled – although if you are that is a bonus, and you don’t have to commit to coming every week.
If you are interested in finding out more just turn up, or contact Alison Walls.
