In spite of the challenging circumstances, we were able to hold several services over Christmas. Some people attended in person, being very careful to socially distance; others joined via Zoom.
Windows decorated throughout the village by Long Buckby Churches Together.
It was good to be able to meet again for a church service, although things were rather different from normal.
We followed government guidance about social distancing, hygiene and what activities were allowed. We have done a detailed risk assessment and have designed everything to be as safe as possible. Chairs have been spread out to ensure 2 metre distancing between individuals or households, so if you wish to come to future services in person, you will need to book in advance.
The service was streamed live on Zoom and also recorded.

We are thrilled with the amount raised for Daventry MIND, and completely blown away by the generosity of our church family, village folk from Long Buckby and support too from Daventry, including MIND.
To see our church full with folk nattering, laughing, donating most generously and eating lots of cake was everything we’d hoped to achieve!
The total raised as of Monday night was just over £600…fantastic!
Thank you to everyone who made cakes, helped set up, helped on the day and those who tided away. We could not have done it without you all.

A few photos from our free monthly lunch. Everyone is welcome to come along on the last term time Thursday of each month.
Some keen volunteers giving the church a spring clean.
Here are some photos from our latest baptismal service.
Thank you to everyone involved in producing a very entertaining Sunday morning service.
