In spite of the challenging circumstances, we were able to hold several services over Christmas. Some people attended in person, being very careful to socially distance; others joined via Zoom.
It was good to be able to meet again for a church service, although things were rather different from normal.
We followed government guidance about social distancing, hygiene and what activities were allowed. We have done a detailed risk assessment and have designed everything to be as safe as possible. Chairs have been spread out to ensure 2 metre distancing between individuals or households, so if you wish to come to future services in person, you will need to book in advance.
The service was streamed live on Zoom and also recorded.

Thank you to everyone involved in producing a very entertaining Sunday morning service.
Thank you to everyone who donated food to decorate the church windows for this year’s harvest service. All the items will be donated to Daventry Food Bank.
We have a box at the front of the church all year round for donations to the food bank, and there is also one in Long Buckby Co-op.
We had an unusual service this week when the whole church, and members of the local community, had the chance to experience Messy Church.
We had a wonderful Easter celebration service this year, which included two baptisms. We were also able to pray for our minister, Nathan, at the start of his sabbatical.
As we had set up a nativity backdrop for photos at Messy Church on Friday night, we decided to make use of it after the Sunday morning service. Some people didn’t seem to be taking it very seriously.
A few photos from yesterday’s baptismal service. This was a combined service with Daventry Baptist Church.
