We are thrilled with the amount raised for Daventry MIND, and completely blown away by the generosity of our church family, village folk from Long Buckby and support too from Daventry, including MIND.
To see our church full with folk nattering, laughing, donating most generously and eating lots of cake was everything we’d hoped to achieve!
The total raised as of Monday night was just over £600…fantastic!
Thank you to everyone who made cakes, helped set up, helped on the day and those who tided away. We could not have done it without you all.

We had an unusual service this week when the whole church, and members of the local community, had the chance to experience Messy Church.
This group meets in the Baptist Church lounge every Tuesday morning from 9:30am until noon. Anyone caring for a small child is welcome to pop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
Here are just a few photos from the Craft Day on 23rd February.
The next Craft Day will be held on Saturday 18th May, but the Craft Group also meets at 7:15pm in the Long Buckby Baptist Church lounge on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
Scrapbookers, card makers, jewellery makers, knitters, crocheters and other crafters are all welcome to bring along their crafts, and work on them together.
Everyone is welcome to come along to “Messy Church” and take part in activities, crafts, games, songs and stories. We finish with a simple, free meal for the children.
